The ancestors of the American Pit Bull Terrier were imported to the United States from England and Ireland during the middle part of the nineteenth century. The original Pit Bulls were a mixture of different types of bulldogs and terriers. Once in the United States, American breeders transformed the original Pit Bull by producing a slightly heavier dog with a larger head The Pit Bull flourished in the United States and became highly prized among a wide variety of people.
The American Pit Bull Terrier had an early history of admiration, respect and love among Americans. Unfortunately, many people with bad intentions have done a disservice to this wonderful breed.
During the past few years, breeders with good intentions have combined the desired traits of the American Pit Bull Terrier with the American Staffordshire Terrier. After years of selective breeding, a new breed was created, "The American Bully." The American Bully is recognized by many dog lovers as the ultimate family companion. He is a powerfully built Pit Bull minus the aggression and is seen in a more positive light. The American Bully is a muscular, stout and wonderful dog. This is the type of Bully we at Quetzal Kennels work hard to produce.
Our mission is to breed show quality Bullies that are family companions. Quetzal bullies are compact to medium sized with muscular bodies and definition. They have heavy bone structure and signature blocky headpieces. They are strong, wide, athletic, well proportioned, good natured and friendly toward people and children. Our bullies heave pleasant temperments and are not bred for aggression. They are outgoing, friendly, confident and gentle. Our Bullies are socialized with children and other animals at a very young age.
Our Bully line is 100% Razors Edge. All of our Bullies are UKC Registered and can also be registered with the American Bully Kennel Club. We can ship puppies to all states in the United States of America. All pups sold are current with their vaccinations.
Should you invest in a Bully, it is imperative that you create the necessary conditions for proper balance. Your Bully deserves regular exercise, discipline, love and care. Just like any other dog they require a lot of attention and TLC.
Last but not least, our puppies and dogs are not sold for illegal purposes.
